What We Believe
We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Holy Spirit to write the very words of scripture. Zion Assembly of God emphasize on the ‘Four Core Beliefs’ of the Assemblies of God: Salvation, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing and the Second Coming of Christ.
What is Salvation?
The doctrine of Salvation forms the core of our Christian faith by proclaiming God’s victory over sin in our lives. This truth results in deliverances, healings, and restored lives. Whether a new member or a mature Christian, every believer should have a clear understanding of salvation and the difference this truth makes in our lives and churches. John 3:16~ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Our History
Zion Assembly of God is built on Fasting and Praying and fund raising by seven pioneer families- Pastor Jayamon Jacob and family, Pastor Yohannan Panicker and family, Br. Koshy Abraham and family, Br. Biju Markose and family Br. George Francis and family, Bro. Kurian Abraham and family, Bro. Benny Joseph and family and Sis. Sunitha Abraham in 2005. Pastor Yohannan Panicker was ordained in 2005 and the Corporation of Zion Assembly of God Church Inc. was formed as a non-profit Charitable Organization.
